“Reiki is love, love is wholeness, wholeness is balance, balance is well-being, well-being is freedom from disease.” Dr Mikao Usui

What is Reiki?

The word "reiki" comes from the Japanese words "rei", meaning spirit and "ki", meaning life energy and is usually translated as “universal or spiritually guided life force energy”.

Reiki is a Japanese healing technique used for stress reduction and relaxation that also supports the body's natural healing capabilities. It is a gentle, natural, non-invasive, complementary healing practice that promotes overall health and well-being. Reiki helps clear blockages and imbalances in our energetic system caused by stress and everyday life. It works on all levels; physical, mental, emotional, & spiritual and is not affiliated with any religion or religious practice. Everything in the universe can benefit from Reiki, human, animal, plant etc. Reiki treatments can be given in person or distantly/remotely.

Reiki for People

Sessions are performed by a certified Reiki practitioner who serves as a conduit between the life force energy and the recipient. Reiki flows through the practitioner’s hands which are gently placed on or just above the body of the fully clothed client over specific energy locations where it goes to where it is needed most. Reiki works to the highest good of the recipient. The reiki practitioner may also incorporate chakra balancing techniques and use crystals or other tools to aid and accelerate the healing process.

Sessions are provided in the comfort of your own home or outdoors if preferred. Includes a pre-session consultation, 30 or 60 minutes of reiki, and post-session discussion.

30 minute session~ $50

60 minute session~ $75

Animal Reiki

Animal reiki is energy healing through meditation with animals. Animals are naturally aware of the energies that surround them which makes them more receptive to reiki. It puts them in a deep relaxed and peaceful space for self healing. Animal reiki is a great complement to pet training and traditional veterinary medicine. Any animal can benefit, big or small.

In-person sessions are provided at your home, barn, or yard and last approximately 30 minutes depending on the animal. Each animal gives their consent to receive reiki treatment and decides how much they would like, at what distance, and if they would like a hands on or hands off session.

30 minute session~ $50

Distance/Virtual Reiki

Reiki energy transcends time and space therefore can be offered over any distance, anywhere, at any time. Distance reiki works on the premise that since we are all made of energy, we are part of a larger whole, making us all connected to each other. Distant sessions have the same benefits as in-person sessions and are just as effective. These sessions are especially great for pets; it allows them to be at home in a familiar place with their family allowing them to be more relaxed and receptive, and is comfortable and convenient for both pets and their people. It is also beneficial for people or pets outside of our service area, who are hospitalized, very ill, or who have difficult schedules.

Distance sessions include pre-session and post-session discussion via Zoom, phone, or email and 30 minutes of reiki.
